Installation & care

Oaklee is hardwired and mounts to a standard ceiling box. We recommend a licensed electrician; most typically charge $75 to $150 per fixture.

Care: switch off and let it cool, then dust with a soft, dry cloth. No solvents or abrasive cleaners.

You have 30 days from delivery. If it isn't right in your room, email us and we send you the return steps. Full refund, no restocking fee. Fixtures need to be uninstalled, unused and in their original packaging. For a change of mind the return shipping is yours; if it arrived damaged or faulty, we cover it.

Not sure about the size? Before we ship, text a photo of your ceiling and the room below to (813) 790-7240 and we'll confirm the size and mounting height, usually the same day. It's free and it prevents most returns.

Do I need an electrician?

Yes for Oaklee; it's hardwired. Most electricians typically charge $75 to $150 per fixture.

What does “fit check” mean?

Text us a photo of the ceiling and the room below before you order. We'll tell you which size to choose and how high to mount it. It takes a few minutes and it's free.

What if it arrives damaged?

We ship a replacement first, before you send anything back. A photo of the damage is all we need.

What if I don't like it in my room?

You have 30 days from delivery to return it unused, in its original packaging, for a full refund with no restocking fee. For a change of mind, the return shipping is paid by you.

Can I dim it?

A dimmer is optional. If you add one, use a dimmer rated for this light's bulbs or built-in LED; text us and we'll confirm a compatible one.

Will the finish match the photos?

Very closely. Colours can look slightly different on different screens, and natural or hand-finished materials vary a little from piece to piece. If you'd like a closer look at the finish before you order, text us and we'll send more photos.

How long does delivery take?

Usually 6 to 15 business days. We prepare your order in 1 to 3 business days, then it ships fully tracked with USPS, UPS or FedEx, and you get a tracking link by email as soon as it leaves us. Light the room, not just the ceiling.

About Oaklee

Oaklee is a small pendant carved from genuine alabaster in the layered form of an acorn: a domed cap resting above a softly rounded body. A slim black cord and a small brass fitting keep the lines simple, and when lit, warm light glows through the stone's natural veining. Hang one beside a bed or above a reading nook, or group several over a kitchen counter.

The product

What is it made of?

The body is Genuine alabaster shade with brass fitting and canopy. These are natural or handmade materials, so every piece varies slightly in grain, veining or tone. No two are exactly alike, which is part of the appeal.

Will it look like the photos?

Colors and metal finishes can look a little different from screen to screen, and lit glass can look warmer in person than in a daytime photo. If it arrives and is not as described, we send a free replacement or refund you in full, and we pay the return shipping.

Are bulbs included?

No, bulbs are not included, so you can choose the brightness and warmth you like. It takes: G9 bulb (not included). Any LED bulb with a matching G9 base fits; for a soft, golden glow choose warm white around 2700K.

Can I dim it?

Yes, with dimmable bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer. Use dimmable LED bulbs with an LED-compatible dimmer (look for LED or CL on the dimmer label); an older dimmer made for incandescent bulbs can make LEDs flicker or buzz.

What color is the light?

Warm 3000K recommended. Warm white around 2700K feels like candlelight and suits living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms; 3000K is a touch crisper for kitchens and work areas.

Size and placement

How big is it?

Width: Ø 6 in / 15 cm. Height: 7.1 in / 18 cm shade. The size guide above draws it to scale in a room next to a 5 ft 9 in person, so you can see how big it really is.

What size do I need?

Add your room length and width in feet: that number in inches is a good fixture width. A 12 by 14 ft room suits about 26 in. Over a dining table, choose a light about half to two thirds of the table length, and at least 12 in narrower than the table so nobody bumps it. The room check in the size guide above does the math for you.

How high should I hang it?

Over a dining table or kitchen island, the bottom should sit 30 to 36 in above the surface. In an open room, hall or entry, leave at least 7 ft (84 in) clear underneath. For ceilings higher than 8 ft, raise it about 3 in for every extra foot of height.

Will it light my whole room?

A ceiling light gives the room its overall, ambient glow. For close work like reading or chopping, most rooms also need a lamp or task light nearby. In a larger room, or for a long table, two pendants or a chandelier plus wall lights spread the light more evenly.

Installation

Do I need an electrician?

Hardwired ceiling pendant, damp rated; qualified electrician recommended. It connects to a standard ceiling or wall junction box. We recommend a licensed electrician; if you do it yourself, always switch the power off at the breaker first.

Can my ceiling hold it?

In the US, a standard ceiling box fixed to a joist is rated for fixtures up to 50 lb; check the rating stamped inside your box. Heavier lights, or boxes held only by drywall, need a fan-rated or brace-mounted box. An electrician can check yours in a few minutes.

Are there any extra costs?

No surprises. Delivery is free and tracked on every order, with no minimum spend, and there is no restocking fee if you return it. Any sales tax that applies is shown at checkout before you pay.

Returns and peace of mind

What if it arrives damaged?

Email support@tiixo.com with your order number and a photo. If it arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, we send a free replacement, or a full refund if you prefer, and we pay any return shipping. Your order is our responsibility until it reaches you, so if it is lost on the way, we make that right too.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to return it unused, in the original packaging with all its parts, and there is no restocking fee. For a change of mind, the return shipping is paid by you. To start, email support@tiixo.com with your order number and we will send the return address and steps. Your refund is processed within 7 business days of the return arriving (your bank can take up to 7 more), or we can exchange it for a different size or finish instead.

Is there a warranty?

Yes: 1-year limited warranty. If anything goes wrong in that time, email us with your order number and a photo or video of the problem.

Is it safe to order from Tiixo?
