Why you'll love it
- Clear glass jar shade that showcases a filament or warm white LED bulb
- Rugged metal frame with authentic lantern styling
- Two finishes: weathered Rust or crisp matte Black
- Works as a porch light, entry light, garage light or garden wall accent
- Hardwired for a clean, permanent installation with no visible cord
Size and placement
Carson measures about 5.9 in wide by 8.2 in deep. The Rust finish stands 17.7 in tall and the Black finish 18.1 in tall. What is it made of?

Will it look like the photos?

Are bulbs included?
No, bulbs are not included, so you can choose the brightness and warmth you like. It takes: E26/E27, max 60W, bulb not included. Any LED bulb with a matching E26 base fits; for a soft, golden glow choose warm white around 2700K.
Can I dim it?
Yes, with dimmable bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer. Use dimmable LED bulbs with an LED-compatible dimmer (look for LED or CL on the dimmer label); an older dimmer made for incandescent bulbs can make LEDs flicker or buzz.

Size and placement
How big is it?
Width: 5.9 in (15 cm). Height: 17.7–18.1 in by finish. Depth: 8.2 in (21 cm). The size guide draws it to scale in a room next to a 5 ft 9 in person, so you can see how big it really is.
How high should I mount it?
Center it about 66 in above the threshold, close to eye level. Beside a door, a light about a quarter to a third of the door height looks right, which is roughly 20 to 27 in for a standard 80 in door. Use one each side of a front door, or one on the handle side of a back door.
Can it be used outdoors or in a bathroom?
Its rating is Outdoor rated — weather & rust resistant. Damp-rated lights suit covered porches and bathrooms; wet-rated lights can take direct rain.
