Questions, answered

Do I need an electrician?

No. Elin needs no wiring at all.

What does “fit check” mean?

Text us a photo of the space before you order. We'll tell you which size to choose. It takes a few minutes and it's free.

What if it arrives damaged?

We ship a replacement first, before you send anything back. A photo of the damage is all we need.

What if I don't like it in my room?

You have 30 days from delivery to return it unused, in its original packaging, for a full refund with no restocking fee. For a change of mind, the return shipping is paid by you.

Will the finish match the photos?

Very closely. Colours can look slightly different on different screens, and natural or hand-finished materials vary a little from piece to piece. If you'd like a closer look at the finish before you order, text us and we'll send more photos.

How long does delivery take?

Usually 6 to 15 business days. We prepare your order in 1 to 3 business days, then it ships fully tracked with USPS, UPS or FedEx, and you get a tracking link by email as soon as it leaves us. Your estimated delivery dates are shown in the delivery box above the Add to cart button. Orders placed after 5pm ET start the next business day.

The product

What is it made of?

The body is Brass-finish metal & frosted acrylic.

Will it look like the photos?

Colors and metal finishes can look a little different from screen to screen, and lit glass can look warmer in person than in a daytime photo. If it arrives and is not as described, we send a free replacement or refund you in full, and we pay the return shipping.

What sizes does it come in?

It comes in 3 sizes: Small, Medium, Large. Pick yours next to the price. Not sure which? The room check in the size guide above works out the right width for your room, or email us your room size and we will tell you.

Is it on sale?

Yes. It is 35% off right now: $379 instead of $591.37. Delivery is free on top, with no minimum spend.

Are bulbs included?

Yes, bulbs are included, so it is ready to light as soon as it is installed. It takes: E27 LED included, 3000K warm white. Any LED bulb with a matching E27 base fits; for a soft, golden glow choose warm white around 2700K.

Can I dim it?

Yes, it is dimmable. Use dimmable LED bulbs with an LED-compatible dimmer (look for LED or CL on the dimmer label); an older dimmer made for incandescent bulbs can make LEDs flicker or buzz.

Size and placement

How big is it?

Height: Adjustable 98–110 in (249–279 cm). The size guide above draws it to scale in a room next to a 5 ft 9 in person, so you can see how big it really is.

Where should it go?

Beside a sofa or reading chair, slightly behind your shoulder, so light falls on the page and not in your eyes. The bottom of the shade should sit near seated eye level, about 40 to 42 in from the floor. In a corner, it lifts the whole room in the evening.

Installation

Do I need an electrician?

No wiring and no electrician. It is ready to use out of the box.

Delivery and costs

Are there any extra costs?

No surprises. Delivery is free and tracked on every order, with no minimum spend, and there is no restocking fee if you return it. Any sales tax that applies is shown at checkout before you pay.
